Privacy Policy

This page explains, in plain terms, what information this website collects and how email you send is used.
Draft for legal review: this wording about cookies and analytics, and any required consent choices, still need to be confirmed before client launch.
Information this website collects
The hosting platform sets a first-party session cookie, __Host-hs_session, to maintain your browsing session and support form security. The platform also collects page-view data through its analytics service. Cloudflare provides a performance and analytics beacon. The contact form sends only the details you choose to submit to the hosting platform when you select Send Inquiry, as described below. You can browse every page without providing personal details.
When you email us
If you email santarosashells@outlook.com, Santa Rosa Shells receives what you choose to send, such as your name, email address, project details and any files you attach. This information is used to reply to you and to talk through your custom order.
The contact form and wording preview
When you send the contact form, the details you enter, such as your name, email address, project choices, engraving wording and message, are sent to and stored by the website's hosting platform so Santa Rosa Shells can read them and reply to you. Santa Rosa Shells may also receive a copy by email. You can use the separate email link if online sending is unavailable. Editing the wording preview does not save or send your text. Only when you choose Ask about this idea, your material and wording are stored temporarily in this tab's session storage to fill the contact form. The transfer expires after two minutes and is removed as soon as the form reads it. Contact details are not stored this way, and wording is not put in the website address. If temporary storage is unavailable, you can enter the selections yourself. Nothing is submitted automatically.
Payment and sensitive information
This website has no online checkout. Please do not include payment card details, passwords or other sensitive information in an inquiry.
Hosting
Like most websites, this site is delivered by a hosting provider that may process standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.
